Night Light Stories

Macaroni Reads

Several months ago I discovered the podcast called Night Light Stories where a friend narrates original children's stories that her and her husband have written. Every episode is available for free via their compendium blog or via iTunes. On their blog you will find vocabulary from the story as well as comprehensive activities that engage the child's imagination. They also have a weekly visual dictionary where they choose a vocabulary word and pick a photo that describes that word. They also invite people to send in their own pictures to help visually define the word. They call it  "Lighting the Way With Words". The entire idea is to promote education and family time.

Night Light Stories is an incredibly modern way to share stories with your children!  Listen to these original works of writing via pod casts in your car, at home or on your ipod!  Get to know Chilly, Mojo, Inky and other adorable characters as Miss Mel , the narrator, spins adventurous tales that are sure to delight children of all ages!

In addition to the blog we also have a Facebook Fan Page where people can get updates about all things related to Night Light Stories; including what's going on with story development, recent pictures, and more. We hope you enjoy listening to our stories as much as we enjoy creating them!  As always, we look forward to watching the glow grow brighter with the many stories we can share together.
